'Mids' are Plenty but '10s' are Taken

Sitting in a café for morning espresso a young beautiful waitress (model-level in looks) walks to serve me then heads to the next tables. 

In the span of less than 5 minutes she attends to several tables. Table 1: 25 year-old cocky young man in poor fitting suit, probably a newbie lawyer, accompanied by 30-35 year old woman, average looking - they're not ready to order and wave off the waitress. Table 2: man in well-fitting smart suit, mid-50s, he chats waitress up for a minute before saying he ain't ready to place order. Table 3: bald man mid-60s, asks waitress for her number she hesitates says she did not carry her phone.  He insists by giving her his phone to type in her number - she does so with a sneer, probably types in a fake number. Table 4: man late 80s asks waitress for number, she says she has no phone on her, he lets it go. Last table, mine: 2 minutes after my order is brought, she asks if I'm good, 5 minutes after the 2 minutes, she asks again if I'm happy.  5 minutes later I move to another table because guy behind me sneezes without covering his mouth - I ain't catching no random flu!  3 minutes later, waitress comes to me asks if I am good, "I see you moved?"

"Yes, I needed some fresh air so decided to sit next to window," I respond.

Table 5: A man in his late 50s walks in with a 20-something year-old looking woman who has more make-up than the clown emoji.  They sit, he badgers her about why she keeps checking her phone.  He asks her who she's talking to and why she won't tell him.  He then starts complaining that she is not loyal and accuses her of talking to other younger men.  

"*Venye mimi hukununulia hizi vitu zote, na unanionyesha madharau?" he tells her, borderline crying.

Social media, technology, so-called 'new media', A.I., feminism -ism schism games, ... et cetera.  The dating market is global not local.  The table 5 guy had failed to understand a very fundamental aspect of interacting with women in 2024.  I take my last sip then head out for my meeting.
